Full on Ferry!

Ferry Corsten has announced a brand new residency at Sankeys in Playa d’en Bossa in Ibiza.

Every Tuesday, between 12 July and 13 September, this world famous dj and producer will host his Full on Ferry event – similar to those he has held with great success in the Netherlands – at this brand new state-of-the-art club on the White Isle.

The line up will vary each week with special guests playing back-2-back sets alongside Corsten in the main room.

Artists such as Cosmic Gate, Gabriel & Dresden, Aly & Fila, Marco V, Lange, Solarstone, Zoo Brazil, Sied van Riel, Virtual Vault and Bart Claessen are already on the line up with more to be announced.

In another area of the club, djs will perform extended sets in a more intimate environment.

As well as the confirmed line up, there will be special surprise acts so clubbers will never really know what to expect!

“I’m really excited to be part of the launch of Sankey’s Ibiza this year and even more excited to launch the Full on Ferry concept in Ibiza.  It’s a great celebration with 2 new great names that are coming together to the island,” says Corsten.

Feel It, the new single from Ferry’s forthcoming artist album, has been well received on dance floors and is hugely popular on radio stations around the world.

Want to hear the Champions?

In February Ferry Corsten gave budding producers the opportunity to take part in a fantastic FC System F remix competition.

The parts to 10 original System F tracks were made available to people to create new versions and there was an online poll to decide the best entries.

Over the past few months the winning remixes have been released as singles and now they have been put together to create an album.

It comes as an 11 track compact disc as well as an extended digital download which features bonus tracks including remixes by Tiesto and Jonas Stenberg.

I’ve got a copy right here!

Any compilation which opens with a remix of System F – Out Of The Blue is already a winner with me. The fact the second track is a great remix of Cry just adds to the excitement.

The tracks on the album include the Dance Valley Theme 2001, Exhale, Needlejuice, India Summer and Solstice and producers on remix duties include Hi_Tack, North State, Sygma, Thomas Datt and Sergey Shabanov.

I could go on about how good it is and that these new remixes have added a 2010 freshness to already classic tracks. But why don’t you just buy it instead?
