The Future Sound Of Egypt with Aly & Fila

Some of my favourite djs are celebrating the amazing 200th episode of their radio show with a truly stunning party in their home country of Egypt.

On Friday 2 September 2011, Aly & Fila are hosting a huge event at the Echo Temple in Sharm El Sheikh in a magical location at the foot of the Sinai Mountains.

The state-of-the-art amphitheatre must surely be one of the most amazing outdoor clubbing locations in the world and will be an unforgettable experience for thousands of trance fans.

Aly & Fila will be on the decks alongside John O’Callaghan, Roger Shah, Sied van Riel and others.

“We are very proud to be hosting our 200th celebration of the Future Sound Of Egypt Radio Show in Egypt.  The line-up is really strong, the location is perfect and we are really looking forward to celebrating this occasion with you all.  Huge thanks for your support!” commented the djs on this unique event.

For dedicated members of the global #trancefamily, this one is a must!

Tytanium Sessions 100 Events

To celebrate a century of episodes of his radio show Sean Tyas has launched a Tytanium tour.

It started on Thursday 23 June at Circus in Montreal with Simon Patterson and Arnej on the decks.

On Friday 24 June the tour visits one of Miami’s hottest clubs – Dream -  with guests John O’Callaghan and Sied van Riel.

On Saturday 25 June, Tytanium Sessions reaches Webster Hall in New York with John O’Callaghan, W&W, Sied van Riel, Tom Colontonio and Sean’s brother Ryan joining him on the decks.

As part of the celebrations a new label is being created to evolve a distinctive Tytanium sound.

The label will launch with Tyas’ new single – By The Way – in July 2011 and comes with a Paul Webster remix.

With 100 episodes of his hugely popular radio show, a new label, and what promises to be an exciting new single there is definitely a buzz around Sean Tyas right now.

Full on Ferry!

Ferry Corsten has announced a brand new residency at Sankeys in Playa d’en Bossa in Ibiza.

Every Tuesday, between 12 July and 13 September, this world famous dj and producer will host his Full on Ferry event – similar to those he has held with great success in the Netherlands – at this brand new state-of-the-art club on the White Isle.

The line up will vary each week with special guests playing back-2-back sets alongside Corsten in the main room.

Artists such as Cosmic Gate, Gabriel & Dresden, Aly & Fila, Marco V, Lange, Solarstone, Zoo Brazil, Sied van Riel, Virtual Vault and Bart Claessen are already on the line up with more to be announced.

In another area of the club, djs will perform extended sets in a more intimate environment.

As well as the confirmed line up, there will be special surprise acts so clubbers will never really know what to expect!

“I’m really excited to be part of the launch of Sankey’s Ibiza this year and even more excited to launch the Full on Ferry concept in Ibiza.  It’s a great celebration with 2 new great names that are coming together to the island,” says Corsten.

Feel It, the new single from Ferry’s forthcoming artist album, has been well received on dance floors and is hugely popular on radio stations around the world.

Rielism

Rielism is Sied van Riel’s first release on Black Hole Recordings.

This album spreads the tempo span wider than usual and features music by Zack Roth, BT, Allure, Lange and Daniel Kandi among a host of other artists.

“With Rielism I want to get across what kind of sounds and range I’m standing for now. In what I guess is a short space of time, there has been a tangible change in what I’m about musically. Compared to my previous releases it’s something new and quite contrasting. It’s intended to be more multiuse; more something that people can put on straight out of work as well as on their way to the club,” said the producer about the new compilation.

CD1 starts off around 127bpm and features atmospheric house with a progressive undercurrent.

CD2 includes big vocal tracks such as Simmons & Blanc featuring Chloe Langley – State Of Emergency and Ronski Speed pres. Sun Decade – U Got Me featuring the voice of Emma Lock.

Rielism is available now from shops and portals.

Fly2Miami

The Fly2Miami compilation came about as part of a bet on Twitter.

The challenge was to fill a flight to the Ultra Music Festival in Miami full of people from the social microblogging website.

Within 40 hours the two driving forces behind the idea (DJ and producer Sied van Riel and Wilco Jung, Creative Director of We Are The Night) had received 426 subscriptions to the flight and KLM booked a private jet.

To prepare a soundtrack for this special trip, Black Hole Recordings has compiled tracks from the likes of Funkerman, JES, Cosmic Gate, Sied van Riel, First State and Armin van Buuren.
